I have always struggled with being able to see what others see. Most of my life, I was bullied for my weight and appearance. I didn't have the fancy expensive clothes growing up, I was a bit on the heavier side, and I wasn't popular. When I'd be out with friends, I never felt seen. I wasn't the pretty, skinny one. Over time, I started to believe all of it. When I looked in the mirror, I still saw the chunky kid with acne. How could I be beautiful? That's not to say that my fiancé and friends don't tell me that I am, but in my head, I was still programmed to think they were only saying it because they had to. Over the past few years, I have done a lot of work on myself. I've lost weight and have been trying to heal the little girl in me who never felt seen, good enough, or pretty. I've surrounded myself with positive people who lift me up and help me see just how beautiful I am. I wanted to do this for myself so I could finally see what they see when they look at me. And boy, did it help. My experience at FABLE was amazing. I remember sitting parked outside the building thinking, "Oh gosh, am I really doing this?" But from the moment I walked in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Alex did my hair and makeup, and she was fantastic. We had such great conversations, and she really helped settle my nerves. Kaitlyn was my photographer, and she was so much fun. She helped me choose outfits and talked me through every pose. As the session went on, I became more and more confident and less concerned about the minimal amount of clothing. I just remember feeling so pretty and so confident when I left that day. Viewing the portraits afterwards was a blast. It was so hard to narrow down my favourites. They were put into a beautiful album, and I even had one turned into a canvas. I get to look at them every day for a much-needed boost of confidence. This experience has played a huge part in changing how I see myself. On the days when I look in the mirror and don't like how I look or I'm feeling down on myself, I can look at these amazing portraits and remember what a beautiful, confident woman I really am. I finally see what my friends and fiancé have been trying to tell me all along. I gained a greater appreciation for my body. I carry myself differently. And most importantly, I feel beautiful, inside and out.

As a busy mom of three kids who works as a PSW in a hospital, I had always wanted to do something like this, but I had always been so afraid to. Finally, I said, "I need to do this for me." I needed to figure out who I was. After carrying three babies and losing a lot of weight, I wasn't happy with who I was anymore. I didn't just need to find myself again, I wanted to find the real me. This was honestly the best experience I could have ever had. From the first phone call to the moment I walked through the front door, everyone was so kind and took their time with me. Not once did I feel rushed or judged. I was completely at ease and relaxed. When I finally saw my portraits, I couldn't believe it was me. Not the shy woman who hated her body and tried to hide, but the woman I truly am and the way I should see myself. This experience has changed me so much. I have gained confidence in myself that I never thought I would have. I've finally found me again, not just a busy mom who works all the time. I found the real me, and I'm so happy I did because it was time. I needed this change. I will forever be grateful for how this experience has changed me and made me feel. I can actually say, "I am FABLE!"

I was getting out of an unfortunate situation after a 16-year relationship that ended in domestic violence. I had lost my home, my sense of self-love, and had zero self-esteem. When I stumbled across FABLE's page, I knew I needed a boost. I needed to figure out how to love myself again and know that I could get through anything if I had my own back first. My experience at FABLE was incredible. My hair and makeup were on point, and every employee made me feel special. The session, the lighting, and the direction were exactly what I needed. Along the way, they showed me some of the portraits, and I was nearly in tears, in a good way. Going back to view the portraits was just as emotional. The person with me looked at the images and said, "This is you, and you are strong, and you can master the world." She had my back when I got emotional and struggled to understand how someone could hurt someone like me. After leaving this experience, my whole perspective changed. As a single mom, I started to fall in love with myself again. I began challenging myself more and believing that I could do anything. Every time I look back at the portraits, I remember all the details of that day and what it meant to me. My son always tells people, "My mom is so beautiful without all that makeup." When others ask me about the FABLE experience, I always tell them to go for it. It's so much more than portraits. The only person who is always going to have my back and love me is ME. I needed the experience at first thinking it was a beautiful way to freeze time and have something to look back on after my journey with my health. But, after going through the session I discovered it was so much more than that!  As a mom, I’ve spent more than half my life loving other tiny humans (who some now grown to adults) I made sure to dress them nicely, boost their confidence in everything they did, try to instil in them a sense of pride for being the amazing people they are.  But here’s the thing, doing that, funny enough made me drift further from who I am, taking time for me, and believing I was more than just mom. This empowerment experience lived up to its name (and then some!!) From the first conversation to the final payment and receipt of my portraits words can’t begin to describe how amazing this was!  I felt seen. I felt beautiful. I felt radiant and sexy and sensual and the light Fable has made me view myself in still shines brightly! Even being 5 months later. Staff were so incredibly supportive and friendly. My nerves quickly left when I begin to pose and my mind fell into relaxing showing myself in a way that I’d never dreamt of.  I have never displayed photos of myself unless it was family portraits and now I proudly have two of my prints showcasing just how beautiful and magical I am as a daily reminder on our bedroom walls! As a plus, I got to replace the old portrait of Sophia Loren I’d felt intimidated and jealous of! (This is huge for me lol) The experience overall shaped the newly confident woman I am.  During the first few weeks after my session I was on an indescribable high.  Since, every time I start to feel negative about myself, I recall just how wrong the negative thoughts are.  Thanks to all of you!! I’m still a mom. I still have health concerns. Some days are good some are not so great. But with the help of Fable, I know without a doubt just how incredible I am.

After going through a major surgery, I felt like I was stepping into a completely new version of myself. I wanted a way to honour that journey, to celebrate everything I had been through and everything I had overcome. This felt like a deeply personal way to embrace my “new me.” From the very first moment I walked into FABLE, I felt something shift. I wasn’t just another client. I was welcomed like family. There was so much warmth, kindness, and genuine care that it instantly put me at ease. The entire experience felt safe, supportive, and honestly, a little bit magical. The experience changed the way I see myself in the most beautiful way. I left feeling stronger, more confident, and more connected to who I am. It helped me recognize a kind of beauty in myself that I hadn’t fully allowed myself to see before, and that feeling has stayed with me ever since.

I chose to do this boudoir session after getting out of a toxic relationship where I experienced a lot of body shaming. After having a baby, I felt really disconnected from my body and had lost a lot of confidence. I knew I needed to do something for myself to help me heal, take my power back, and start reconnecting with who I am. My experience at FABLE was incredible. I was nervous going in, but the team made me feel comfortable and supported right away. The environment felt safe and empowering, and I was guided through everything in a way that helped me relax and actually enjoy the experience. I felt so comfortable and beautiful throughout the entire session. Afterwards, I felt a huge shift in how I saw myself. The experience helped me rebuild my confidence and appreciate my body again, especially after everything it has been through. I left feeling empowered, proud, and more connected to myself than I had in a long time. This was such an amazing experience, and it gave me the most beautiful portraits of myself.

Where do I start? From the moment I walked into the studio, had my hair and makeup done, and learned how to pose in ways that brought out my confidence, I felt empowered and beautiful. I felt the woman I had always wanted to be shine through in every pose, and each portrait told its own story. It took me a long time to get to this point in my life where I truly love my body, and I am so grateful that I was able to showcase that. One of the things I loved most was how I was immediately treated with kindness. It helped ease my nerves right away. Everyone was friendly, polite, and supportive, and they genuinely wanted to help me feel my very best. This experience made me feel confident, beautiful, and empowered, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I was married for over 20 years and have four wonderful children. On Christmas Eve 2024, my husband told me our marriage was over. Around the same time, I had also lost over 70 lbs. I wanted to do the portraits to show myself that I am sexy after letting my body go for so many years while raising children and putting myself last. I wanted to reconnect with myself and see the woman I had become. My self-confidence and self-esteem are slowly coming back, and these portraits are a great reminder that I am beautiful inside and out. They remind me that I am a great person and a great mom. FABLE was amazing from the very first time we met at the TABOO Show, through the consultation, hair and makeup, the session itself, the portrait reveal, and finally picking up my artwork. The staff were some of the most welcoming and wonderful people I have ever met. I am honored and humbled that you wanted to know more about me and my story. We really didn't know exactly how much we needed this until we started the preparations. It was such a fun experience and gave us an opportunity to better understand who we are as a couple while getting excited for the next steps in our journey together. FABLE gave us a 10/10 experience from beginning to end. We felt heard, comfortable, and completely taken care of throughout the process. We loved every second of the session and talked about it for days afterwards. The portrait reveal was a beautiful experience as well and brought me to literal tears. We left FABLE feeling sexy and confident, with the most spectacular portraits we have ever seen. More importantly, we left with memories of an incredible experience that we shared together and will never forget.

I wanted to do something purely for me, something that celebrated where I’m at in life right now. It was about embracing self-love, feeling confident in my own skin, and capturing that in a way I could look back on with pride. My experience at FABLE was incredible. During 2024 and 2025, and continuing into this year, I started a Fearless-Ness List. It's a list of things and adventures I'd always wanted to do but had been nervous about, or had convinced myself I couldn't do, or needed someone else to join me for. It has now turned into a list of experiences that have pushed me outside my comfort zone and helped me find a new side of myself, a side I had been missing or had never really known. When the opportunity came up for the Empowerment Project, I knew I had to do it. I wanted to show this new version of myself, which is still growing and changing, and embrace all of it. The experience at FABLE was absolutely amazing. From the minute I walked in for hair and makeup and gave the stylist carte blanche to work her magic, to working with the photographer to get the portraits she knew would be amazing, even when I felt a little weird and had to trust the process. Boy, am I glad I did. Even the portrait reveal was an incredible experience. I was lucky enough to have my sister-in-law with me, and let me tell you, bring a hype person if you can! At first, I was on edge seeing the portraits, but watching her reaction made the whole experience ten times better. I knew it would be hard not to judge myself, but the entire team and experience opened my eyes and made it so much easier to embrace what I was seeing. Afterwards, I felt so much more comfortable with myself and found a new sense of empowerment. Funny enough, as I told more of my friends about the experience, they opened up about wanting to try it too and shared many of the same reservations I had. It became a stepping stone in helping my circle of friends find a new level of confidence for themselves as well. Most importantly, it reminded me why I started my Fearless-Ness List in the first place and who I was investing in: me.

I recently found myself navigating a separation, and my self-confidence was at an all-time low. I wanted an opportunity to feel empowered, reconnect with myself, and explore my femininity. My experience at FABLE was amazing. Everyone was so accommodating and made me feel like the main character in my own story. From beginning to end, I felt supported, celebrated, and completely comfortable. The experience gave me a much-needed confidence boost. My portraits and artwork turned out amazing, and seeing myself through a different lens helped me feel more confident and empowered. I couldn't have been happier with the overall experience, and I recommend FABLE to all of my friends.

For the last 24 years, we have been Mom and Dad. Running to school, events, sports, and anything else the kids needed. Yes, we would sneak away every couple of years for a vacation together, but our focus was always on the kids. Well, they are not little anymore, so now we can shift some of that focus back to us, and something like this was a great way to reconnect. The day started off with some nervous jitters, but as soon as we entered FABLE, we were greeted with a warm and professional atmosphere. It made us feel confident and comfortable throughout the whole experience. What we thought was going to be a scary and awkward experience actually turned out to be a great day and a fun experience for both of us. The experience really helped boost our confidence. So much so that we have already had a couple of conversations about coming back and doing it again next year for our 25th anniversary.

I decided to do the photo shoot because it was a horrible time in my life, one of the worst. After a breakup and losing both of my parents in 2024 and 2025, I had felt so bad about myself and my physical appearance due to a bit of depression. My experience with FABLE was wonderful from the moment I walked in. I was treated like a queen and taken care of every step of the way. Everyone was awesome and made me feel so special throughout the entire experience. For once in my life, I actually felt like a movie star. It gave me such a confidence boost, and that feeling has continued even after the session. I feel great about myself, and I’ve shown my portraits to so many people. One of them is even my profile picture on Facebook and Instagram. This experience truly changed how I see myself, and I am so grateful for it. If I wasn't moving in a few weeks, I would probably be doing it again in the near future.

I was tired of hating myself and my body and knew I needed a new perspective and a new start to the year. I cannot even describe how amazing it was to have my portraits done with FABLE. The whole team was so warm, inviting, and hyped me up so much. They all made me feel special and were so caring. I could tell they loved working there and weren't just there for a paycheck. Since my photo shoot, I have bloomed. I started yoga and love it so much that I'm taking a yoga teacher training course. I've been running regularly and have smashed through previous personal records. I have lived full of joy, full of love, and most importantly, I can look at myself in the mirror and not hate what I see. I have embraced, accepted, and loved the body I have and all the amazing things it has done for me. And all it took was one session at FABLE. Two hours of my time to kick my self-doubt and hateful comments out the door. Forever.

I needed this for myself as an affirmation that I’m more than my age or the sum of my parts. Even someone in their later 60’s can be attractive, even a little bit vibrant, more than just an “old lady”. My personal experience was lovely. Everyone was personable, supportive and friendly. I didn’t feel rushed. My opinion was listened to and respected. I didn’t get a lot of support from family members about doing this experience. However, when I returned home, the tune changed! My son commented about how pretty I looked with my hair and make up. I also got positive feedback over the photos I chose. Overall, I’m glad I took the opportunity to do something inherently for myself. It gave me a boost of confidence. I feel a little more self assured, like I did 15 years ago.

The reason why I needed this for myself was because I was feeling low, not feeling sexy, and not feeling wanted by my body. Everything just wasn't right for me. My experience with FABLE was amazing, exciting, and scary because I didn't know what I was walking into. I had no clue what to expect, but overall, it was amazing. Everyone was kind, understanding, and made you feel welcome instead of scared about what was going to happen. I started off really nervous. My armpits were leaking because I didn't know what to expect. They could tell I was nervous, but they made me feel amazing from the start and even more beautiful by the end. By the time I was done, I was laughing. You could see it in all the behind-the-scenes photos and the time-lapse videos, how scared and nervous I was at first, and then by the end I was having an amazing time, laughing, and feeling more at home than I did when I walked in. The girls were amazing with my hair and makeup because I don't know how to do either myself. They also showed me how to sit, how to stand, and how to pose for all the portraits. They loved the word "apple" and somehow managed to make me feel completely at home and relaxed. The girls are amazing, nice, welcoming, understanding, and appreciative. They work with you every step of the way. The way it made me feel afterwards was uplifting, sexy, and more connected to my body the way I should be. With my portraits hanging on my bedroom wall, I look at them and see what I can be and what I'm worth. They remind me that I can be pretty every day, even without my hair and makeup done by someone else, because I still don't know how to do either myself. It was an amazing experience, and I cherish every moment of it. I will definitely be back one day to do a couple’s session with my love.

After having my first son, I did not have the motivation to care for myself. After a year, I got that motivation back and started focusing on myself and working out. That's when I found out I was pregnant again. Fast forward to after my second son was born, and I did not have the energy or motivation to focus on myself anymore. I was only focused on taking care of my sons. When I saw the post for the Empowerment Project on Instagram, I wanted to participate to encourage myself to focus on me again. Not taking care of myself for six months affected me mentally. I thought this experience would help me be happy with myself, see that even after two kids I still got it, and push me to focus on myself again. My experience at FABLE was amazing. From the moment you walk in, everybody was so welcoming and listened to the reasons why I wanted to do this. The makeup artist was amazing. I did not have any idea what kind of makeup I wanted, and she did an amazing job creating a look that suited me. The same goes for my hair. The photographer was amazing as well. She made the experience feel comfortable and not awkward at all. I really enjoyed it, and all of the poses were amazing. She did a great job at hiding my biggest insecurity while still making the portraits look amazing. It made me so happy seeing my portraits. It boosted my confidence so much and made me feel amazing.

I wanted to prove to myself that I could do something amazing without being self-conscious. Stepping out of my comfort zone has helped me grow and become a better version of myself. It has allowed me to thrive and finally enjoy the self-esteem that I never had in my 43 years of existence. Walking into FABLE was an inspiring moment. Seeing the beautiful, artistic portraits of others instantly gave me a sense of confidence and excitement for my own session. The team welcomed me warmly and made me feel completely at ease from start to finish. Their kindness, professionalism, and positive energy created such a comfortable environment that I forgot all my initial nervousness. The entire experience was truly incredible. I felt like a professional model and couldn’t believe how naturally everything flowed during the session. When I saw the final portraits, I was amazed. They were absolutely stunning. This experience has boosted my confidence and made me feel empowered in ways I never imagined.

I did this because I was bullied through elementary and high school for being "fat," wearing glasses, having pimples, and never feeling like I fit in. As I entered my forties, I began a self-love journey that eventually led to turning 50 and doing this session. For the first time in my life, I finally feel beautiful in my own skin. The experience was amazing. Everyone was welcoming and caring, and they made my social anxiety almost disappear completely. My hair and makeup looked gorgeous, and my photographer was a sweetheart. I have recommended this experience to many of my friends. Afterwards, I felt like the sexy, fiery bitch I have always wanted to be. I love looking at my portraits, and I have three framed in my bedroom that give me a quick confidence boost every morning.

I felt a personal need to do this photo shoot to address child loss, its impact on a woman's confidence, and the path to rebalancing life. This subject is rarely discussed or embraced through art. We also do not advocate enough against medical racism or highlight the issues surrounding Black and Indigenous maternal health. For me, this photo shoot serves as a reminder that child loss can be portrayed through art, blending beauty, strength, and pain. It is something that deserves more recognition and understanding, helping to rebuild women and families who experience this type of loss. My experience with FABLE was extraordinary, uplifting, empowering, and unique. The professionalism was exceptional. The experience renewed my mind, body, and soul while empowering my spirit. It reminded me of the power I carry within to overcome challenges, speak my truth, and create change. The photo shoot profoundly impacted my life, transforming my energy and my sense of identity while helping me begin to heal the broken pieces left behind by the experience surrounding my daughter's death. This session holds a special place in my heart, as I had eagerly anticipated my first maternity photo shoot during that same year before giving birth. This experience taught me how to embrace my reality, my beauty, my resilience, my strength, and my pain, all while standing firmly in my purpose. The last six years have been intensely challenging. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s right before COVID, and while we were preparing for her new lifestyle, my dad fell ill. He spent eight months being moved from hospital to hospital and then to long-term care before passing away in August 2022. A year and a half later, my mom had a stroke. She was in the hospital for a month before we lost her in March 2024. It was an extremely difficult time, especially while working full-time and raising two children as a single mom. The stress led to me gaining 60 lbs. Last year, it felt like a fog had finally lifted. I started focusing on myself and trying to figure out who I was now. I began my weight loss journey in May 2025, and when I saw the promotion for The Empowerment Project, I had already lost 50 lbs. The problem was that I felt great with my clothes on but had zero confidence in my own skin. I was hoping the session would give me some confidence and remind me how to love my body again. My experience with FABLE was simply fantastic. From the moment I walked through the front door, I felt special and like the team really understood who I am and what I was trying to achieve. I felt empowered. My hair and makeup were fabulous, and the session was so much fun. Even viewing my portraits afterwards was beyond anything I could have imagined. The experience gave me a whole new confidence that has been life-changing. I respect my body and feel super sexy. It also gave me the courage to put myself out there, and I have since found a love that I never thought I would have. Now that I am down 75 lbs and have reached my goal, I’m planning on booking my next session very soon.

Brittany Doing a boudoir session was always something I said I wanted to do, but I could never justify it. Truthfully, I was always just really nervous and self-conscious. When my husband came into the room and announced that we had won a couples session, it was all or nothing. I was excited to experience it with him, but I was definitely nervous. As a plus-size woman with low self-confidence, I was very much in my head when we arrived at the studio. The entire FABLE team was amazing from start to finish. The planning process was easy, communication was clear, and everyone was so welcoming. My makeup artist was fabulous. She was bubbly, bright, and made me feel excited instead of nervous. Kaitlyn, our photographer, made our experience unforgettable. My husband made me feel sexy. I felt sexy. We didn't feel like the exhausted parents of a special-needs child. We took the time to look at each other, be present, and just have fun. By the end of the session, I felt comfortable in a way I never expected. The experience gave me such a confidence boost. We were on a high for the rest of the week and couldn't wait to see the portraits. Choosing our favourites was almost impossible because we loved them all. FABLE captured how we felt about each other in such a beautiful and authentic way. We have our portraits hanging in our bedroom and still talk about them all the time. It's an experience I will always treasure, and I would highly recommend FABLE to anyone, especially couples. Ryan When I first saw the opportunity on Facebook, I was immediately intrigued. My wife and I were coming up on our 11th anniversary, and I thought it would be a fun way for us to step outside our comfort zones and do something new together. One of my biggest reasons for applying was my wife. I wanted her to have the opportunity to see herself the way I see her every day. She is a beautiful woman, but she sometimes struggles to see that herself. I thought this could be a chance for her to gain some confidence and self-esteem. From the moment we arrived at FABLE, every single person we met was warm, encouraging, and incredibly kind. They made us feel comfortable right away and gave us the confidence we needed throughout the session. What could have felt awkward or intimidating ended up being fun, exciting, and something we genuinely enjoyed together. The experience brought us closer and reminded us how important it is to make time for each other. We left feeling confident, connected, and excited to see the final portraits. Today, we have several portraits hanging in our bedroom, and we love looking at them. They remind us how in love we are, how much fun we had, and that we are capable of doing things that push us outside our comfort zones. The portraits give us a confidence boost whenever we need one. Our portraits are more than just pictures. They are pieces of art and reminders of an incredible experience that we will always be grateful for. We have recommended FABLE to all the couples we know.

We needed the photo shoot to help with our self-confidence. It also helped as a bonding experience. It was incredibly fun, and so much easier than I thought it would be. Being 360+ pounds, I went in thinking it would be awful. I thought I would hate every single portrait and be uncomfortable being photographed by a stranger, but I was so wrong. The experience really boosted our confidence. We know we are a beautiful couple for sure now.

My name is Sarah and I am an addict in recovery. In active addiction I used and abused my body in many different ways. I shamed myself for my “flaws” because I was never comfortable in my own skin and only focused on the things I didn’t like about myself and my appearance. My experience at Fable was amazing. It was actually the first time I had someone properly do my makeup and I looked so beautiful. The ladies made me feel comfortable in a judgement-free environment. I had never done anything like this before, so it was really nice to have instruction for poses and the little sneak peeks were fire!! Their ability to capture my essence in a safe environment contributed to the success of this shoot. Looking at the finished products, I was stunned. I had never seen myself as such a powerful woman before. I truly felt part of myself healing. My inner and outer beauty were shining, and I could feel the confidence of the woman I was looking at. After a year of working on self-love, this was the ultimate tribute to my body. Whenever I start to pick on myself for my appearance, I look at these pictures and remind myself of the absolute badass I am.

I'm not the most confident person, and I felt like seeing how I looked in the portraits and experiencing the session would help boost my confidence. It had been a rough last quarter of the year, and I wanted to appreciate where I am in life right now and appreciate my body right now. I enjoyed every second of my experience at FABLE. I felt like a celebrity getting my hair and makeup done, being guided through different poses and sets, and then coming back to view the portraits afterwards. It was so relaxing, and the team made me feel completely comfortable. It was an amazing experience, and I would love to do it again. The whole experience made me feel so celebrated. Then, when I saw my portraits and the incredible job the team had done, I felt empowered and confident. It gave me the confidence boost I needed in my life.

I decided to have these portraits taken because I’ve lost 150 lbs and wanted a confidence boost. I’ve been working hard to align how I feel on the inside with how I look on the outside. I struggle with body dysmorphia, and there are days when it’s hard to see my progress or feel beautiful. Having these portraits allows me to see myself clearly. They remind me of how far I’ve come and help me appreciate the person I am today. On the tough days, I can look at them and remind myself, “That’s you — and you are beautiful.” I even have the portraits hanging in my bedroom as a daily reminder of my strength and growth. My experience at FABLE was absolutely wonderful. Everyone I met was so kind, genuine, and welcoming. I was very nervous about having my portrait taken, but the photographer immediately put me at ease. She made the session so comfortable and fun that I even agreed to let another photographer take pictures of her taking pictures of me, something I never would have done before! Choosing my final portraits was also such a great experience. The team was patient, supportive, and encouraging throughout the whole process. Everyone at FABLE made me feel seen, confident, and beautiful. I’ve been showing my friends and family the portraits and telling them all about how amazing FABLE is. The experience had a huge impact on me. Afterwards, I felt more confident, empowered, and proud of how far I’ve come. Seeing the portraits helped me appreciate my body and my journey in a new way. It reminded me that I am beautiful, inside and out, even on the days when I don’t feel that way. Having these portraits to look back on gives me a daily boost of confidence and helps me see myself the way others do. The whole experience with FABLE was truly uplifting and healing, and it’s something I’ll carry with me for a long time.

I needed this for myself for so many reasons. I wanted to see myself as someone fierce, sexy, and full of fire, regardless of divorce or heartbreak. My experience with FABLE, and Megan in particular, was overwhelmingly positive. I felt completely comfortable the entire time and almost transported during the session. It was like being completely myself while also having the freedom to let an inner part of me have free rein. It was amazing. Afterwards, both immediately after the session and again when I saw the portraits, I was a little in awe. I saw myself in a whole new light.

This experience came during a time in my life where I had been through a lot emotionally, mentally, and personally. I’ve faced situations that broke me down, made me question my worth, and left me feeling lost and overwhelmed. There were moments where I felt like I was carrying everything on my own, trying to stay strong while dealing with things most people don’t see. But through all of that, I kept going. I learned how to rebuild myself piece by piece, even on days where it felt impossible. I’ve grown stronger, more independent, and more aware of who I am and what I deserve. The session with Fable meant more to me than just taking photos. It gave me a moment to pause and actually see myself not through everything I’ve been through, but through who I am becoming. It reminded me that I’m not defined by my struggles, but by how I rise from them. I’m still healing, still growing, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. And if sharing this helps even one woman feel less alone or more hopeful, then it’s worth it. Thank you again for giving me the space to share my story.

I had always wanted to do a boudoir shoot... I am a bit reserved and have always had body image issues so I think I wanted to do this as a challenge for myself, to see if I could come out of my shell and actually do it. My experience at Fable was so much more then I could have ever expected. Everyone was so welcoming and warm, and genuinely excited for me to be able to have this experience. Even though I felt quite nervous going into it, those feelings quickly disappeared after getting glammed up and meeting my photographer. This experience gave me a new appreciation for myself. I got to see myself from a different perspective than I'm used to and was pleasantly surprised at what I saw, even before the pictures were touched up. I really appreciated myself and how I looked in the photos, and it gave me a huge self-esteem boost. Thank you Fable Studios ❤

Just before my 40th birthday, I was lucky enough to win a spot in the Empowerment Project with FABLE. Over the past few years, I’ve made a real effort to focus on myself and start feeling good about who I am again. After the heartbreaking loss of a child, and then welcoming two more children, I knew I needed to take some time to do something just for me. When I saw the post to enter, I decided to give it a shot. It was something I never would have thought to do, but I figured, why not? From the first phone call with the team to the session and the portrait reveal, my experience with FABLE was incredible. I wasn’t sure how I would feel going into it, but the whole team made me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely beautiful. I felt a confidence I hadn’t felt in a long time, and for the first time in years, I felt sexy in my own skin. My portraits turned out better than I ever could have imagined, and I was proud to share them with real confidence. I truly believe every woman should experience something like this at least once in her life. This was a life-changing experience. It reminded me how important it is to keep choosing myself, too. I plan to keep working on me, and I’d love to do it again someday. Everyone deserves to experience this and feel the high that comes from seeing yourself in a whole new light.
