The drive is the easy part. From most of Markham it is a clean run west along Highway 7, or a quick hop onto the 407, and you are pulling into our studio near Weston Road in about twenty-five minutes. We tell people that on purpose, because the distance between thinking about a boudoir session and actually doing one usually has nothing to do with kilometres. It is the deciding. By the time you turn off the main road and park, the hardest step is already behind you, and what is in front of you is a quiet afternoon that belongs entirely to you.

Markham is a place that rewards people who do things well and do not feel the need to announce it. You see it in Unionville, where the historic Main Street has kept its character while everything around it grew up; you see it in Cornell and the newer neighbourhoods; you see it along the tech corridor, where a lot of our Markham clients spend their weeks solving hard problems quietly and capably. Those are the people we tend to meet. Someone who has held a great deal together for a long time, often for everyone else, and is finally pointing some of that care inward. You do not need a milestone to come in, though plenty arrive with one. A birthday that ends in zero. A wedding on the calendar. A body that changed, or healed, or simply got carried through a hard year and deserves to be seen kindly. The reason is yours. The room is ready either way.

What happens once you are here is calmer than most people expect. There is no audition, no pressure to perform confidence you have not found yet. We start with a conversation, walk you through posing in plain language, and direct every frame so you are never left guessing what to do with your hands. Hair and makeup happen on site, unhurried, with coffee or a glass of something while you settle in. From there the work takes whatever shape suits you. A Boudoir session. Something with more Glamour and editorial polish. Bridal Boudoir timed to a wedding, a Couples session for two, an Empowerment sitting that marks a turning point, or one of our Men's Boudoir. Every story is welcome here, for every body, with privacy and discretion treated as the baseline rather than the upsell. Pricing is straightforward and shared before you book, so nothing about the day catches you off guard except, maybe, how good the photos turn out."]

I wanted to do something purely for me, something that celebrated where I’m at in life right now. It was about embracing self-love, feeling confident in my own skin, and capturing that in a way I could look back on with pride. My experience at FABLE was incredible. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable, supported, and completely at ease. The whole process was empowering and fun, and it really allowed me to step into a more confident version of myself. Afterwards, I felt confident, proud, and honestly a little unstoppable. It reminded me that confidence doesn’t have an age, it’s something you choose. I walked away feeling strong, empowered, and fully owning who I am. Most importantly, I left knowing that I’ll be okay no matter what life throws at me. Thank you, FABLE!

During 2024 and 2025, and continuing into this year, I started a Fearless-Ness List. It's a list of things and adventures I'd always wanted to do but had been nervous about, or had convinced myself I couldn't do, or needed someone else to join me for. It has now turned into a list of experiences that have pushed me outside my comfort zone and helped me find a new side of myself, a side I had been missing or had never really known. When the opportunity came up for the Empowerment Project, I knew I had to do it. I wanted to show this new version of myself, which is still growing and changing, and embrace all of it. The experience at FABLE was absolutely amazing. From the minute I walked in for hair and makeup and gave the stylist carte blanche to work her magic, to working with the photographer to get the portraits she knew would be amazing, even when I felt a little weird and had to trust the process. Boy, am I glad I did. Even the portrait reveal was an incredible experience. I was lucky enough to have my sister-in-law with me, and let me tell you, bring a hype person if you can! At first, I was on edge seeing the portraits, but watching her reaction made the whole experience ten times better. I knew it would be hard not to judge myself, but the entire team and experience opened my eyes and made it so much easier to embrace what I was seeing. Afterwards, I felt so much more comfortable with myself and found a new sense of empowerment. Funny enough, as I told more of my friends about the experience, they opened up about wanting to try it too and shared many of the same reservations I had. It became a stepping stone in helping my circle of friends find a new level of confidence for themselves as well. Most importantly, it reminded me why I started my Fearless-Ness List in the first place and who I was investing in: me.

I recently found myself navigating a separation, and my self-confidence was at an all-time low. I wanted an opportunity to feel empowered, reconnect with myself, and explore my femininity. My experience at FABLE was amazing. Everyone was so accommodating and made me feel like the main character in my own story. From beginning to end, I felt supported, celebrated, and completely comfortable. The experience gave me a much-needed confidence boost. My portraits and artwork turned out amazing, and seeing myself through a different lens helped me feel more confident and empowered. I couldn't have been happier with the overall experience, and I recommend FABLE to all of my friends.

For the last 24 years, we have been Mom and Dad. Running to school, events, sports, and anything else the kids needed. Yes, we would sneak away every couple of years for a vacation together, but our focus was always on the kids. Well, they are not little anymore, so now we can shift some of that focus back to us, and something like this was a great way to reconnect. The day started off with some nervous jitters, but as soon as we entered FABLE, we were greeted with a warm and professional atmosphere. It made us feel confident and comfortable throughout the whole experience. What we thought was going to be a scary and awkward experience actually turned out to be a great day and a fun experience for both of us. The experience really helped boost our confidence. So much so that we have already had a couple of conversations about coming back and doing it again next year for our 25th anniversary.

I decided to do the photo shoot because it was a horrible time in my life, one of the worst. After a breakup and losing both of my parents in 2024 and 2025, I had felt so bad about myself and my physical appearance due to a bit of depression. My experience with FABLE was wonderful from the moment I walked in. I was treated like a queen and taken care of every step of the way. Everyone was awesome and made me feel so special throughout the entire experience. For once in my life, I actually felt like a movie star. It gave me such a confidence boost, and that feeling has continued even after the session. I feel great about myself, and I’ve shown my portraits to so many people. One of them is even my profile picture on Facebook and Instagram. This experience truly changed how I see myself, and I am so grateful for it. If I wasn't moving in a few weeks, I would probably be doing it again in the near future.

I was tired of hating myself and my body and knew I needed a new perspective and a new start to the year. I cannot even describe how amazing it was to have my portraits done with FABLE. The whole team was so warm, inviting, and hyped me up so much. They all made me feel special and were so caring. I could tell they loved working there and weren't just there for a paycheck. Since my photo shoot, I have bloomed. I started yoga and love it so much that I'm taking a yoga teacher training course. I've been running regularly and have smashed through previous personal records. I have lived full of joy, full of love, and most importantly, I can look at myself in the mirror and not hate what I see. I have embraced, accepted, and loved the body I have and all the amazing things it has done for me. And all it took was one session at FABLE. Two hours of my time to kick my self-doubt and hateful comments out the door. Forever.

Markham questions

Booking a boudoir session from Markham

How far is the studio from Markham, and is parking easy?

Plan on about twenty-five minutes from most of Markham, whether you come west on Highway 7 or take the 407. The studio sits near Highway 7 and Weston Road in north Vaughan, with free parking directly outside, so you can walk in calm instead of circling for a spot. We schedule with travel in mind and never rush the start of your session.

I keep a packed work schedule. Can a session fit around that, and is it genuinely private?

Yes on both counts. A lot of our Markham clients come from the tech corridor and similar demanding roles, so we are used to working around full calendars and book sessions on the day and time that actually suits you. Discretion is built in: the studio is private, your images are never shared without your written permission, and how much you do or do not tell anyone is entirely your call.

Do I get ready at home in Markham or at the studio?

At the studio. Professional hair and makeup are done on site so you do not have to drive over already styled or worry about the wind on the way in. Come as you are, arrive with time to settle, and let the team build your look in the room. Most people find that hour is where the nerves quietly turn into excitement.
